A recipe and prep list app for chefs

What it is

Maticbook is a notebook for people who work the line. It keeps the recipe book, with the 14 EU allergen tags and yield scaling to any batch size, beside the day's prep list, a to-do / doing / done board, the shift roster, kitchen timers and a handover sheet for the next shift. Signed in, it can read a recipe from a photo of a page or a card.

Built for the kitchen, not the office

Kitchens lose signal in walk-ins and basements, so Maticbook works fully offline and stores everything on the device first. An account is optional and only syncs your notebook between your own devices. There are no ads and no tracking. It runs in the browser, installs to the home screen, and comes as an Android app downloaded straight from this site.

Who builds it

Maticbook is built by Mosematic Technologies, a software business registered in Uganda (G260930-3343) that also makes Mise for kitchen procurement, MaticCore for training and Nkolefarm for farms. More of its work: mosematic.com.
